cbc radio one and two just started streaming in mp3. Very recently because I was looking three weeks ago and nothing.

go to www.publicradiofan.com

choose location from the menu then choose the province.

one or two cities are not in mp3 yet, like montreal, but quebec city , toronto, london, vancouver and quite a few others are now available.

They don't seem to be on the cbc page yet. They are using icecast to stream the stations.

i've been waiting some time for it, but it has arrived

Seems only the Vancouver radio1 stream has been changed. Bummer, I just switched to a mac, and wanted to use itunes to listen to local radio.

Thanks - I've been looking for this trick for a while. With luck I can get iTunes on a Window's PC to stream CBC to my Airport Express module. iTunes lets you select some of the more obscure CBC streams but not Radio 1 or 2.
